Air India crushes PSPB

Air-India scored a crushing 3-1 victory over defending champion and top seed Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) to cause the biggest upset in the tournament.

In spite of having it all,  PSPB an all  Grandmaster team with the expertise help from IM D.V.Prasad, who himself was a seasoned manager of  Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, could not stop the outcome against the spirted Air India Team.

S. Satyapragyan  held Abhjit Kunte in 40 moves on the third board.Mean while Parimarjan Negi held Sasikiran to a  draw.
G. B. Joshi defeated GM Deepan Chakkravarthy in 40 moves.Tejas Bakre played Sachin's Innings by beating  Arun Prasad in 60 moves to give Air-India the lead.
