Just focussing on the game made this Indian girl win the coveted title World Juniors girls chess champion. Coming from a modest background Soumya had learnt the art of working under pressure and that proved very fruitful. Despite losing the penultimate round, Soumya stood her ground and went on to score a powerful victory over Woman International Master OZTURK Kubra of Turkey from a Ruy Lopez anti marshall variation.
